The Warrior's Journey

When Nestlé Business Services Cairo moved to a new head office, we didn't send an announcement — we made a legend. A comic‑book hero's journey about a warrior building a new land for his people, with the team's own voices woven right into the story. And it grew into a whole world: an animated film, an original cast of heroes, printed movie posters and a real cinema premiere.

The Warrior's Journey · animated film for Nestlé Business Services Cairo

01The story

“Once upon a time, in a universe not far away… a descendant of a pharaoh decided to serve his king.” The film opens like a legend — a young warrior sets out on a hero's journey to build a new land for his people. Every beat is an allegory for a very real moment: Nestlé Business Services Cairo moving to a new home.

02The hero & the ensemble

Original characters, drawn in a bold graphic‑novel style — and every one built from a blank page. The lead warrior, his allies, and the floating citadel he sets out to reach: character design, colour and 2D animation, start to finish.

Beyond the lead, a whole ensemble — each ally designed from scratch, with their own silhouette, weapon and personality. This is the range of character work behind the film.

03Trials & battles

Before the new land, there is struggle. Comic‑book action sequences — trials in the ring, panels that snap and “BANG”, the hero pushed to his limit — carry the emotional weight of change before the payoff arrives.

04Real voices, inside the story

The idea that made it land: we filmed the real NBS Cairo team — their honest questions and hopes about the move — and set that live footage inside the comic panels. The legend and the people telling it share the same frame, so the message never feels like a memo.

05Building the new land

In the finale, the hero builds his people's new home through a series of living, holographic interfaces — and each one quietly answers a real concern about the office move.

  • Proximity — the new land sits close to home.
  • Communication — a stronger infrastructure to connect everyone.
  • Transport — the same vessels kept, to reach his people.
  • Amenities — spaces to keep the team entertained in times of peace.
  • Nutrition — the right dietary care to keep everyone fit (fitting, for Nestlé).
  • Growth — the army restructured to give more opportunity.

06More than a film — a premiere

We didn't just hand over a video file. We gave NBS Cairo a Movie Day: a full cinema screening for the whole team, printed tickets, and real movie posters. The internal announcement became an event people lined up for — the kind of premiere a hero's story deserves.

The result

The move happened — and every KPI on the brief was met.

NBS Cairo set out to relocate its people to a new home in Egypt, and the campaign carried them there. The team moved, morale moved with them, and the project hit every KPI the brief set — helping to secure Nestlé's position in Egypt. One brief, one partner — strategy, script, character design, animation, posters and the premiere, all under one roof.

An office move, retold as an epic — so the team could see the new land the way its hero did.
